Sarsha’s journey as a natural practitioner has seen her return to Healthpoint as an Osteopath. Previously, she was a Remedial Massage Therapist and Pilates instructor at the clinic.
After living overseas for almost ten years, Sarsha returned to Melbourne and spent a period of time caring for a family member. She learned firsthand of the positive impact complementary medicine and manual therapy could have in the management of chronic conditions and pain. It prompted her to undertake a Diploma in Remedial Massage at Sage Academic, a Diploma in Pilates, and then an Osteopathic degree at RMIT.
Sarsha believes that Osteopathy can assist in correcting and preventing a range of musculoskeletal disorders. Her holistic approach to treatment entails assessing and treating the cause of pain, rather than just the symptoms. She uses a number of techniques such as deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular and muscular energy techniques. Her therapeutic aim is to reduce pain and stress, whilst improving postural imbalances.
Sarsha uses her many skills to help her patients live pain free, active lives.
