Dr Dana Klas, Osteopath

BSc (Clin Sc), MHSc (Osteo)

With over 15 years of dedicated experience, Dana is a compassionate, patient-centered Osteopath committed to supporting individuals through life's key transitions. Specialising in pre- and post-natal care, paediatric osteopathy, and pelvic health, she offers informed and gentle care tailored to each person's unique needs.

Dana completed her Osteopathic training at Victoria University and has pursued postgraduate studies both domestically and internationally. Her advanced training includes Biodynamic Osteopathy (Phases I–IV), Visceral Osteopathy through the Barral Institute, and Primitive Reflex Integration. Her practice blends structural techniques with gentle, hands-on approaches, always respecting the body’s natural capacity to heal and adapt. Each treatment is personalised, with a focus on attentive listening and collaboration.

As a mother of two, Dana deeply understands pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery from personal experience. Her own journey with natural, physiological childbirth fuels her passion for empowering women with confidence, clarity, and continuous support. She works closely with midwives, doulas, and other health professionals to provide comprehensive care throughout the perinatal journey.

In addition to her work with women, babies, and children, Dana supports individuals experiencing chronic pelvic pain and postural imbalances. Her extensive training in both external and internal techniques enables her to tailor treatments to a variety of needs.

Dana is dedicated to creating a calm, respectful, and grounding treatment environment. She believes Health is always present and accessible, even during challenging times—and her role is to help unlock and support that innate healing capacity. Her lifelong curiosity about the body, combined with interests in running, cycling, yoga, qi gong, and meditation, informs her approach. She encourages patients to explore and understand their own bodies, fostering self-awareness and positive change.

Outside the clinic, Dana finds joy in everyday routines—baking, gardening, and turning playground adventures into fun obstacle courses with her children. Immersed in nature and simple pleasures, she stays connected, present, and inspired qualities she brings into her work each day.
